The “Bed Race To Aid Children, Inc.” is a 501c(3) set up to raise funds in support of the “Now I Lay Me Down”
bed program, a ministry of The First Presbyterian Church of Monroe, Michigan.
The Event
Join us for the Annual Holiday SLED RACE to Aid Children
on Friday, December 2, 2022 in Downtown Ida.
We have partnered with the Christmas in Ida Festival and Parade of Lights
for our SLED Race. This lively event features "sleds" equipped with wheels and raced by community teams under stadium lights. This will be a drag style race Friday night in downtown Ida. The event is to raise awareness and funds to ensure every child in Monroe County has a comfortable bed. The entry fee is a minimum donation of $100, which will go towards the cost of one bed for a child in need.
We invite you to partner with us to help these children. You can assist with sponsorship, form a team to race, run, walk, skip or crawl; you can seek donations, assist with our fundraising efforts, purchase items such as pillows and bedding, or volunteer
your time to deliver beds.
