The “Bed Race To Aid Children, Inc.” is a 501c(3) set up to raise funds in support of the “Now I Lay Me Down”
bed program, a ministry of The First Presbyterian Church of Monroe, Michigan.
The Event
The 2023 Annual Bed Race to Aid Children will be on September 24, 2023 beginning at 1:00 in Downtown Monroe.
The annual Bed Race to Aid Children’s signature event is the actual Bed Race where various community teams come together to race beds. Teams of five race decorated beds through downtown Monroe in an effort to have the fastest time while raising funds to support the “Now I Lay Me Down”
bed ministry. It is a fun event which attracts hundreds of community members to participate and watch.
We invite you to partner with us to help these children. You can assist with sponsorship, form a team to race, run, walk, skip or crawl; you can seek donations, assist with our fundraising efforts, purchase items such as pillows and bedding, or volunteer
your time to deliver beds.
